Our contract with the Mission Palms specifies Room Rates
of US$119.00 per night single/double/triple/quad plus tax. This
includes the $8 resort fee which gives your complimentary airport shuttle
to/from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport; complimentary parking
for event guests and wireless internet, access to the exercise center and
more. The Mission Palms is planning an expansion that should be
done by 2008 and we will have access to the additional function space and
rooms for Westercon.
The Tempe Mission Palms has a large rooftop pool with
two spas, lighted tennis courts, and a fitness center. The concierge desk
can help with arranging golf at the nearby Karsten Golf Course. On-site
dining includes the Mission Grill restaurant, the Terrace Cabana by the
pool, and Harry's Place indoor/outdoor lounge.

| We have also negotiated a win-win
solution with the hotel regarding handicapped attendees. If you require
transport from the airport that requires a wheelchair or scooter, or you
cannot negotiate the free hotel-airport shuttle due to physical limitations,
then the hotel and the convention will split the cost of an equivalent
shuttle that can handle your needs, such as Super Shuttle, 50/50 so that
the net cost to the handicapped attendee is the same, namely, gratuity only.
